PARTS OF METRO MANILA, BULACAN, CAVITE TO EXPERIENCE POWER INTERRUPTIONS ON JULY 4-5

Parts of Rosario in Pasig City; Tondo in Manila; Greater Lagro and Pasong Putik in Quezon City; Calumpit, Hagonoy, and Malolos in Bulacan; Tagaytay, Silang, and Amadeo in Cavite will experience power service interruptions on July 4 and 5 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In an advisory posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said there will be replacement of poles and line reconstruction works along Calumpit Provincial Road in Bgy. Balungao, Calumpit, Bulacan on July 4.

Affected between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. then between 6:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. are:

• Portion of Iba Este Road from MacArthur Highway to and including Purok 1 – 6 in Bgy. Iba Este, Calumpit.
• Portion of MacArthur Highway from Meralco – Calumpit substation to Calumpit Provincial Road in Bgys. Bagbag, Palimbang, Corazon and Balungao in Calumpit.

Affected between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. are:

• Portion of Calumpit Provincial Road from MacArthur Highway in Bgy. Balungao to and including Bgys. Calizon, Bulusan and Gugo in Calumpit.
• Portion of Macabebe – Calumpit – Apalit Road from near Paligi Dudurut Diversion Road to and including Bgys. Meysulao and San Miguel in Calumpit.
• Portion of Calumpit Provincial Road from Bgy. Sta. Lucia to and including Bgys. Meyto, Panducot and San Jose in Calumpit.
• Portion of Hagonoy Provincial Road from Bgy. San Isidro to and including Bgys. San Juan, Sta. Monica, Sto. Niño and Tampok in Hagonoy.

It will also be conducting replacement of pole, line reconductoring works, and installation of facilities along Ortigas Ave. Ext. corner Melbourne St. in Bgy. Rosario, Pasig City on July 4.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Urban Deca Homes and Ciudad Grande Executive Village along Ortigas Ave. Ext.

There will be line reconductoring works along MacArthur Highway in Bgy. Bulihan, Malolos City, Bulacan on July 4.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Malolos Heights Subd. Phases 1, 2 & 3, Domsal Subd. Phases 1 & 2 and Sitio Malangam in Bgy. Bulihan.

Line maintenance works will be conducted along Radial Road 10 (R-10) in Tondo, Manila on July 4.

Affected between 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. and then between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. are:

• Portion of Radial Road 10 (R-10) from Fernando Magallanes St. to near Shell Gas Station including Bonifacio, Cadena De Amor, Camia, Dama De Noche, Espanola, Everlasting, Gumamela, Hyacinth, J. P. Rizal, Katuparan, Lilac, Lily, Rosal, Roxas, Sampaguita, Santan, States and Vitas Sts. in Magsaysay Village; Rodriguez St. in Balut; Katuparan Homes; Bienes De Manila Development Corp., Dealco Inc., Urban Deca Homes Manila, Petron Gas Station, Petron New Lubricant Oil Blending Plant, San Miguel Foundation Inc. (SMFI), Tondominium, The New Vitas Slaughterhouse and Vitas Aquatic Center.

Meralco will be conducting line reconstruction works at various areas along Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Tagaytay City, Cavite on July 5.

Affected between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. are:

• Portion of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway from Meralco – Tagaytay substation in Bgy. Buho, Silang to and including McDonald's - Tagaytay Olivarez and Mercury Drugstore in Bgy. Silang Junction South, Tagaytay City; Sitio Apyad, Camella Silang Subd., Camella Silang Subd. Phase 2, Southwinds Subd. and Sta. Rosa Hills Subd.; Bucal Pump Station and Dear Joe Coffee & Juice Store in Bgys. Buho, Bucal, Malabag, Ulat and Puting Kahoy in Silang; Breezy Lane Subd., Metrogate Tagaytay Manors Subd., Prime Peak Estates Subd., Victoria Subd. and Foggy Heights Subd.; Lourdes, Magallanes, Holy Spirit, Maitim, Pious Height, Vilbay and Vinarao Sts.; MetroGate Tagaytay Manors Pump Station No. 23, Maitim 2nd Central Pump Station No. 16, Maitim II East Pump Station No. 20, Angels Hills Retreat & Formation Center, Emiramona Garden Hotel and Ismael & Sofia Yanga Properties Management Inc. in Maitim 2nd Central, Maitim 2nd West, Maitim II East, San Jose, Silang Junction North and Silang Junction South in Tagaytay City.
• Portion of Buho – Talon Road from Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Bgy. Buho, Silang to and including Purok Centro, Purok Ilaya, Purok Kanluran, Sitio Gubat, Sitio Loob and Sitio Matagbak in Bgys. Buho, Maitim I and Talon in Amadeo.
• Portion of SVD Road and Tagaytay – Calamba Road from Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Highway in Bgy. Maitim II East, Tagaytay City to and including Tolentino East Road; PIL Mission Seminary, Pilipinas Farm Subd., St. Joseph Formation House, St. Patrick Homes, Tahanan Ng Mabuting Pastol, Prime Peak Estates Subd., Victoria Subd., San Gabriel Subd. and Windsor Heights Subd.; Franciso Ulat and Francisco – Tolentino East Roads; Pag-Ibig, St. Joseph, Vilbay, Calamba, SMSK, Market, Public Market and Tolentino Sts.; Chaeson Corp., Converge Information & Communications Technology Solutions Inc., Divine Word Seminary, Ecohotels Inc., Mission Society of the Philippines Inc., One Tolentino East Residences construction site, Starbucks and Tolentino East Pump Station No. 21 in Bgys. Francisco, Mag-Asawang Ilat, Maitin II East, San Jose, Tolentino East and Tolentino West in Tagaytay City.

There will also be upgrading of facilities in Neopolitan IV Brittany Subd. in Bgys. Greater Lagro and Pasong Putik in Quezon City on July 5.
