MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER AFTER STABBING DEATH
A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder after another man died on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old victim was stabbed in Wrensfield Road in Stockton, County Durham, at about 18:40 BST, police said.
He suffered serious injuries and died in hospital a short time later.
The charged man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court.
Cleveland Police said officers would remain in the area over the coming days as the investigation continued.
