POWER INTERRUPTIONS IN PARTS OF METRO MANILA, CAVITE, LAGUNA ON JUNE 29-JULY 1

Parts of Sampaloc in Manila, Quezon City, Taguig City, Trece Martires in Cavite, and Cabuyao in Laguna will experience power service interruptions on June 29 to July 1 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In an advisory posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said it will be conducting replacement of poles, line reconductoring works, and installation of additional lightning protection devices along P. Florentino St. and Espana Blvd. in Sampaloc, Manila on June 29.

Affected between 8:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. and then between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. are:

• Portion of A. H. Lacson Ave. from Dapitan St. to P. Florentino St. in Sampaloc, Manila.
• Portion of España Blvd. from Blumentritt Road to Mabuhay Rotonda including Josefina 1 and 2 Sts.; Meralco España Business Center, Mercury Drug, Southeast Asian College, España Tower Mega One Bldg., Nextel Bldg. and Philipps Technical Consultants Corp. (PTCC) in Sampaloc, Manila.
• Portion of E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave. from Mabuhay Rotonda to Matimyas St. including Nicanor Ramirez St.; KFC Restaurant, United Doctors Medical Center and Pycor Inc. in Bgy. Don Manuel, Quezon City.

Affected between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. are:

• Portion of P. Florentino St. from A. H. Lacson Ave. to Blumentritt Road including A. Maceda, Algeciras, Antipolo, Basilio, Craig, Don Quijote, Dos Castillas, Ibarra, J. Marzan, Kundiman, M. Dela Fuente, Musa, R. Cristobal, San Diego and V. G. Cruz Sts.; Residencia Fortuna, Mondember Bldg. and A+ Studios in Sampaloc, Manila.
• Portion of Piy Margal St. from A. H. Lacson Ave. to Prudencio St. including Carola, Don Quijote, Dos Castillas, Gen. Geronimo, Maria Cristina and Miguelin Sts.; Dominican School Manila, Athena Dorms, Ghost Kitchens OPC, iChill Theater Café, Sid-Ann Printing and iTower 3 in Sampaloc, Manila.

There will also be line reconductoring works along J. P. Rizal St. in Bgy. Comembo, Taguig City on June 29.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and then between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Portion of Sampaguita St. from J. P. Rizal St. to 9th St. including Jollibee; 8th and 9th Sts. in Bgy. Comembo.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Portion of J. P. Rizal St. from 27th Ave. to Anahaw St. including Philippine Army Village Homeowners Asso. Inc. (PAVAI); KFC, Mercury Drugstore, Meriras Commercial Complex, Mormon Church and Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino High School in Bgys. Comembo and East Rembo.
• Portion of Anahaw St. from J. P. Rizal St. to and including Apitong, Alagao, Aguho, Tanguile, 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sts.; and Comembo Barangay Hall in Bgy. Comembo.

It will also conducting line reconstruction and line reconductoring works along Carlos P. Garcia Ave. (C-5 Road) in Bgy. Ususan, Taguig City on June 30.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Portion of Carlos P. Garcia Ave. (C-5 Road) from Pinagsama Village Phase 2 to PDS Ave. including portion of Diego Silang Village, MRB Condominium Compound; and Bases Conversion & Development Authority (BCDA) Field Office in Bgys. Ususan and Western Bicutan.
• Portion of PDS Ave. from Carlos P. Garcia Ave. (C-5 Road) to and including Cypress Tower in Bgy. Ususan.

Meralco will be conducting rehabilitation and replacement of facilities in Bgy. Gregorio, Trece Martires City, Cavite on June 29.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. are:

• Portion of San Gregorio Road from Juanito Remulla Sr. Road (Governor's Drive) to and including Heritage Homes Phases 1 & 2; Montalban SRC Panel Corp. and Solid Steel International Coating Corp. in Bgy. Gregorio.

There will be replacement of lightning protection devices along Manila South Road in Bgy. Dila, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. Meralco will also be conducting line reconstruction works affected by road widening project along F. Reyes St. in Bgy. Balibago, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna from June 30 to July 1.

Affected between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., Sunday, June 30, and then between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m., Monday, July 1, are:

• Nestle Philippines Inc. along Cabuyao – Sta. Rosa National Highway (Manila South Road) in Bgy. Niugan.
• Asia Brewery Inc. along Cabuyao – Sta. Rosa National Highway (Manila South Road) in Bgy. Sala.
