SUSPECT CHARGED WITH MURDER AFTER ASSAULT VICTIM DIES
A man is facing a murder charge following the death of a another man in Kent.
Rashko Kurtev, 31, has been charged with murder in connection with an altercation in Station Road, Birchington-on-Sea, on 9 March.
Kent Police said an assault victim in his 40s, who was taken to a hospital in London, died on 15 April.
Mr Kurtev, who had been charged with grievous bodily harm, appeared before magistrates on Saturday and was remanded in custody.
The suspect, of Park Avenue, Birchington-no-Sea, will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, police said.
