PERSON INJURED AT ALDERNEY BUILDING SITE
A person was injured following an incident which happened on a building site in Alderney, paramedics said.
Guernsey Ambulance and Rescue Service said it was called out to the incident on Thursday involving a person who was scaffolding at roof height.
It said Alderney Fire Service was called out to help bring the patient down in a purpose-built cage to a waiting ambulance as the crew was unable to get to the person by ladder.
An ambulance service spokesperson said the patient was taken to Mignot Hospital for treatment.
