BULSU STUDENTS PRESENT PAPERS AT INTL CONFERENCE

FOUR AB Literatura: Maikling Pagsulat students of Bulacan State University College of Arts and Letters (BulSU-CAL) presented their respective research papers during the 7 th International Conference of Asian and Philippine Studies (ICAPS) held in Baguio City on May 30 to June 1, 2024.

BulSU President Teddy San Andres informed that the presented papers and the student presenters include "Makapakitbi sa Atay: Iba pang mga Pagdadalamhati" by Kyt Christine Tacang, "Mga Sirang Sisidlan" by John Xyrus Romero, "Pagbasag ng mga Kanta sa Gabi sa Ritmo ng Paniniil" by Johanne Pheobe Nicolas and "Ang Panitikang Pambata Bilang Repositoryo ng Kasaysayan: Isang Pagbasa at Pagsusuri sa Likhang Pambata" by Kevin Harold Saan.

Accordingly, the papers signify the students' dedication to conducting research and the quality of education that BulSU nurtures, a manifestation of the university disseminating awareness of using research to enhance Filipino literature.

Since starting as an intermediate school in 1904, BulSU has had more than 20,000 students, with enrollment increasing annually – one of the largest enrollments among state colleges and universities (SUCs) outside Metro Manila.

Its mission is to produce highly competent, ethical and service-oriented professionals who contribute to the nation's sustainable socioeconomic growth and development.

BulSU has produced over 50 topnotchers in engineering, architecture, and teacher education.
