BRISBANE BLOKE CLAIMS HIS SECOND MULTIMILLION DOLLAR LOTTO PRIZE

A Brisbane man has won his second major lottery prize this year after taking home $3.7 million in Saturday's Gold Lotto draw.

The latest win comes after a $2.8 million lotto prize earlier in the year.

'I can't believe it's happened again,' he said after learning about the win. 'I had a double-take when I checked it this morning.

'I just thought to myself, "Wow, this is unbelievable". Winning twice is magical.

'I told my siblings this morning and my sister said to me, 'Is this real? What are the chances?'.

'My brother rang up all of his friends and they got together to celebrate.

'Some might question why I continue to play but I thought I'd give it another shot to continue to help out my family. We're all so shocked.'

When asked what he planned to do with another multi-million-dollar boost, the medical worker said it would help him work on himself.

'Last time, I used most of the win to help set up my family,' he said.

'Now, I'll be able to donate to a lot of charities, buy myself a property and travel the world.

'This really gives me the freedom to travel everywhere. I want to see all of the world.

'I'm still working. I love what I do. I work in the medical sector, and I really enjoy giving back to those less fortunate.'

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4481 were 30, 24, 44, 21, 45 and 10, while the supplementary numbers were 31 and 28.
