POWER INTERRUPTIONS IN PARTS OF METRO MANILA, RIZAL, BULACAN ON JULY 2 TO 4

Parts of Quiapo in Manila, Quezon City, Valenzuela City, Morong in Rizal, and Bulacan are set to experience power service interruptions on July 2 to 4 due to scheduled maintenance activities.

In an advisory posted on its website, Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said it will be relocating primary facilities affected by DPWH project along J. P. Rizal St. in Bgys. Caniogan – Calero – Lanang (CCL) and Maybancal, Morong, Rizal Province on July 2.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of J. P. Rizal St. from Caniogan – Calero – Lanang (CCL) – Maybancal Barangay Boundary in Sitio Lanang, Bgy. Caniogan – Calero – Lanang (CCL) to near Geo Carwash in Bgy. Maybancal.

There will also be line reconstruction works along Quezon Blvd. and Gonzalo Puyat St. in Quiapo, Manila from July 2 to 3.

Affected between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, and then between 4:30 a.m. and 5 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, are:

• Portion of Quezon Blvd. from Mercury Drugstore to and including Carlos Palanca St.
• Portion of Carlos Palanca St. from Quezon Blvd. to and including Isetann Department Store and Quinta Market; Villalobos and Gomez Sts.
• Portion of R. Hidalgo St. from Gomez to Villalobos St. including Fotohaus, F & C Tower and Manila City Plaza.
• Portion of Villalobos St. from R. Hidalgo St. to Carlos Palanca St. including 88 Shopping Center.
• FEATI University along Padre Burgos St.

Affected between 10 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, and 5 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, are:

• Portion of Evangelista St. from C. M. Recto Ave. to and including Plaza Miranda, Paterno, Ronquillo, Gonzalo Puyat and Soler Sts.; Isetan Commercial Complex, QQ Mall and Philippine College of Criminology.
• Portion of Soler St. from Evangelista St. to Rizal Ave. including Calero, Mabolo and Trinidad Sts.; Eastern Telecom Bldg. and Kamagong Hotel.
• Portion of Gonzalo Puyat St. (Raon) from Quezon Blvd. to Rizal Ave. including Raon Electronics Center, Globe Bldg., SMG Electronics Store, DEECO, RCBC and Puregold Jr.
• Portion of Paterno St. from Evangelista St. to and including Estero Cegado, Sales, Platerias and Palma Sts.
• Portion of Carriedo St. from Palma St. to and including SM – Carriedo, Henrick Bazaar, Plaza Miranda Shopping Mall, McDonalds Restaurant, Jollibee – Carriedo, Chowking, Manila City Plaza and Manila Royal Hotel.
• Portion of Quezon Blvd. (South Bound) from Gonzalo Puyat St. (Raon) to and including Quiapo Church, Globe Building, Citystate Tower Hotel, Chowking, BDO, 7-Eleven Store and Times Theater Bldg.; G. Puyat (Raon) and Paterno Sts.
• Portion of G. Puyat St. (Raon) from Quezon Blvd. to Evangelista St. including Ora Electronics Center and Mang Inasal Restaurant.

Meralco will be conducting line reconductoring works along Araneta St. and Seminary Rd. in Bgy. Baesa, Quezon City on July 3.

Affected areas between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and then between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Portion of F. Carlos St. from Espiritu Santo Ecumenical Chapel to near Araneta St. including G. K. Espiritu Sto. Village and Sitio Pajo in Bgy. Baesa.
• Portion of Road 19 from Road 15 to Road 18 including Roads 16 and 17; and Nick Joaquin Senior High School in Bgy. Bahay Toro.
• Portion of Road 18 from Road 14 to Short Horn St. in Bgy. Bahay Toro.
• Portion of Short Horn St. from Road 18 to near Road 23 in Bgy. Bahay Toro.
• Meralco Balintawak Sector Compound along Epifanio Delos Santos Ave. (EDSA) in Bgy. Apolonio Samson.

Affected between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. are:

• Along Araneta St. from F. Carlos St. to Seminary Road including Sitio Mendoza; and Casa Bonita St. in Bgy. Baesa.
• Portion of Seminary Road from Araneta St. to near Road 16 including San Jose St.; Sitio Militar and Sitio Incinerator; Ghytan Enterprises and Monte Cielo Marketing Corp. in Bgy. Bahay Toro.

There will also be line reconstruction works along Iba – Longos Road in Bgy. Longos, Calumpit, Bulacan on July 3.

Affected between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. are:

• Portion of Iba - Longos Road from near Manila North Road in Bgy. Longos, Malolos City to San Antonio de Padua Chapel including Purok 3, 4, 5 & 6 in Bgy. Iba - Ibayo, Hagonoy; and Purok 1, 3 & 7 in Bgy. Longos, Calumpit.
• Portion of Hangga St. from near San Jose Village Road to Alfamart including Carmen V. De Luna St.; Purok Hangga, Purok Kamistisuhan and Purok Tambubong; and Bloomfields Residences in Bgy. Longos, Malolos City.

Line reconstruction works will also be conducted along MacArthur Highway and Pio Valenzuela St. in Bgy. Marulas, Valenzuela City on July 3.

Affected between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. are:

• Portion of MacArthur Highway from 1st St. to Mercado St. including San Miguel Brewery Inc. – Polo Brewery and Wellmade Manufacturing Corp.; Elysian, Engracion and F. Bautista Sts. in Bgy. Marulas.

• Portion of Sto. Niño St. and Pilot Drive from near Sanchez St. in Bgy. Commonwealth to and including Adarna, Kilyawan and Martinez Sts. in Bgy. Holy Spirit; NGC Row Housing Project Subd. and Unit V Subd.; Iglesia Ni Cristo – Lokal ng Pilot in Bgy. Commonwealth.

Affected between 11 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, and 5 a.m., Thursday, July 4, are:

• Portion of Villonco St. from near Steve St. to and including Don Fabian, Melon, San Pedro and Martan Sts.
• Portion of Martan and Sto. Niño Sts. from Bicolyte St. to and including Sanchez, Gold, San Miguel, San Diego, San Andres, San Pascual, San Roque, San Jose, San Martin, San Lorenzo, Tabigo, Ecol, Silver and Emerald Sts.; and Commonwealth High School.
