MARCOS AWARDS TROOPS HURT IN BIFF ENCOUNTER

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. conferred awards to seven soldiers who were wounded during an encounter with the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF).

All of the soldiers were awarded the Personnel Wounded Medal on Monday.

The awarding ceremony took place at the Camp Siongco Station Hospital in the headquarters of the Philippine Army's 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division, Camp Siongco, Awang, DOS, Maguindanao del Norte.

Marcos visited the Kampilan Division to pay tribute to the soldiers for their bravery in the ongoing defense of the nation and protection of civilians.
