CHINESE WOMAN JUMPS FROM HOUSE TO ESCAPE ‘KIDNAPPERS’ IN STA. ROSA

A Chinese woman jumped from the second floor of a house to escape her alleged abductors in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

According to Jun Veneracion's report on "24 Oras", the neighbors immediately helped the victim and covered her naked body after her escape.

She reportedly even hit the house gate's pointed pegs before reaching the street.

“Naawa talaga kami e narinig namin sabi ng babae please, help me pati ‘yung dog please dog help me please,” said a resident.

The suspects, who were also Chinese, tried to flee but were nabbed by subdivision security.

“Parang sinasaktan sya ng dalawang Chinese nakita po namin biglang tumakas yung dalawa,” the resident added.

Investigation showed that the suspects abducted the victim at the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) parking area on May 29 and to her to the rented house in Santa Rosa.

The victim was allegedly raped and her money was taken from her.

The suspects reportedly demanded a ransom of P10 million from the victim's friends and relatives in China.

“Base sa rebelasyon ng biktima 'yung kanyang foreign account na maraming laman na transfer sa bank account ng mga suspek,” Santa Rosa police chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Dwight Fonte Jr. said.

The two suspects will be charged with kidnapping, rape, robbery, and illegal possession of firearms.

Seized from the suspects were guns, ammunition, money, and cell phones. —Sherylin Untalan/NB, GMA Integrated News
