3 CHINESE NABBED FOR DRUGS

MANILA, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P3.4 million was recovered during a sting that also resulted in the arrest of three Chinese in Angeles, Pampanga on Monday night.

Bin Da, 23; Hei Xiao, 21, and Gua Xiao, 20, were collared by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Barangay Balibago at around 10:50 p.m., according to a report of the PDEA-Central Luzon office.

The suspects were placed under surveillance for two weeks before authorities conducted the entrapment.

The suspects reportedly sold 500 grams of shabu to an undercover agent of the PDEA.

Aside from the illegal substance, the PDEA seized seven phones from the suspects.

Meanwhile, around 50 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P340,000 was recovered in Batangas City on Monday night.

Police arrested two drug suspects, identified as alias Christopher and Melcherd, following a sting in Barangay Alangilan.
